Left feeling more confused with the plot holes but didn’t hate this last book entirely. Like why was Vesta so important when there were more pressing issues? Was it one or two curses happening at the same time? Celestia asked for her spell book but never got it, so what was the point of that? It would have also been nice to see all the other princes more fleshed out. So many subplots and side characters that I lost track of.
There was so much description of Emilia being this powerful and scary Goddess of Fury but I barely saw her demonstrate that. All bark but no bite… And Vittoria’s character had me scratching my head. Was I supposed to hate her guts or love her like she was my own sis? She flip flopped so many times I gave up trying to figure her out. Bumped up 1/2 a star because the smut wasn’t too bad 🤷🏽♀️

I really enjoy the world building and characters in this series.
I think the pacing for this book was great up until the ending. The ending felt anti-climatic and unfinished. Instead it is all rushed and kind of resolved but not in a satisfying way for myself and what I was looking forward to. It is unfortunate that that is the ending we got as the rest of the book didn't feel that way, and the ending is what sticks with most readers.
This will not stop me from reading Kerri Maniscalo's future books, and I look forward to her new works.

This series is typically classified as young adult (YA) and while I think the first book of the series is, I would not say that this book is YA anymore. I would classify it as New Adult due to its detailed sexual content. It does not have the most graphic depictions I have ever read, but it is vastly different from where the series started.admunro20's review against another edition
