With a tang of Jasper Fforde's Thursday Next series, the librarian in this story has to deal with some unusual problems in her library.
Spoiler
At first, I found everything simply sweet but nothing too out of the ordinary - three stars. But once the bear began conducting storytime it got a little more exciting - four stars - and then after the librarian appeared after fighting a volcano eruption, I was all in. Five stars.rachiiebookworm2710's review against another edition

This story is so cute, especially for a library worker. This book features a bear reading stories to the kids. This bear is the new “libearian”. This story is cute and funny with cute illustrations.

A fun story about a missing librarian during the most critical time for any library - story time! I enjoyed the little adventure and the resolution. Definitely one I would read at story time!

The children are great little library detectives! They are open to using their imagination and the stories jump off the pages.
