Good enemies to lovers/workplace romance! Overall 3.5 stars. The book was great but it was too much bickering back and forth for me!

Super cute enemies to lovers, boss and employee quick read. So cute, fun, a little spicy and a whole lot of sass

I loved this story. It was so much fun. I spent the entire book laughing out loud and swooning and being frustrated with characters I wanted things to work out for and I enjoyed every minute of it. I love Laura's contemporary stories just as much as I love her paranormal and I can't wait to see what she writes next!

This book was a bit shocking in the beginning but I feel like the enemies to lovers was pretty true. Both characters were a little mean but it worked and I thought they worked well together.

When I read an enemies you lovers I want more angst and banter and hatred. This was mediocre…I enjoyed it but didn’t love it.

I liken this to a poor man’s [b:Beautiful Bastard|16102004|Beautiful Bastard (Beautiful Bastard, #1)|Christina Lauren|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1362258921l/16102004._SY75_.jpg|21912533]

Down to the corporate setting, a jerk of a boss, an executive assistant that works below her pay grade, each riling each other up to succumb to numerous bouts of hate sex that culminates in the bonding work trip, and the inevitable 3rd act breakup with lots of needed groveling to follow.

Make note that this was more raunchy and crass than its more sophisticated, and definitely more memorable, predecessor. I suppose this imitation is the best form of flattery.
