I received a free copy of Faking It With A Cowboy Billionaire and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is the first work of the author's that I've read & I don't mind reading more from her. It's a good fake dating dual pov romance. The story follows playboy billionaire Chance & successful lawyer Dakota as they begin a fake relationship to impress potential investors for Chance & to get back at Dakota's slimeball ex. Because it's a novella, character development was still needed - like I felt as if there could've been more to Chance's character. For the most part, he was kind of a jerk but Dakota wasn't going to take his words/actions silently so that was fun to read. Also, there was a tiny of bit of angst. Overall, it kept me interested in the story & wanting to read more from the author, which is why I rounded up, & I think others may like this story.

Faking It With A Cowboy Billionaire by Kimberly Ann

There’s so much story packed into this short read. I loved every minute of it!

I was drawn into the story from the get go and couldn’t put it down. I really felt like this was a much longer full novel with all that happened. It didn’t feel rushed either.

A small lie at a bar on who Dakota’s boyfriend is, quickly escalated into Chance saying things like “my woman.” My heart was already swooning from that but add in a “good girl” and I nearly fainted.

Chance is in need of some good PR and a fake girlfriend would help. Dakota started this fake relationship and he is going to continue it.

There’s a lot of friction between these two opposites. It continues to a passionate boiling point. Only to have Dakota and Chance back at odds. At the end of it all will they realize that their feelings might not be fake anymore?
