Grief horror and existentialist dread in hauntingly beautiful prose. There were gorgeous, sad passages that knocked the breath out of me. I know that this one is going to stay with me through the years.

The story's pacing was a luttle slow and the switch of POVs between the two MC, Simon and Marie, was a bit confusing.
This story is an exploration of grief and how some family cannot move on.
The ending was dark.

Very prettily written with some lovely turns of phrase. Eerie atmosphere. Predictable plot, but I think that's the point--it's tragic, you know how it ends because it tells you near the beginning, the interest is how they get to that conclusion. Characters are not nice people at all though, makes it very hard to care about them.
Short, quick read.

Devastating but doesn’t leave you depressed. Hopefully.
