*there’s technically no plot spoilers in this review so I’m not tagging it as such but if you don’t wish to know ANYTHING about the premise AT ALL, skip this review*
For some reason I thought the title of this book was a metaphor for something but nope. It’s literally about a serial killer and her sister who is very much an enabler but doesn’t admit to it. It’s very funny to see evil happening and yet not feel compelled to put an end to it BUT at the same time consider yourself an “okay”person because you 1.) feel bad about not doing anything and 2.) you’re technically not the one doing the evil. Anyway, I feel very lucky lately for randomly coming across great books written by black authors and finding books about really unique concepts. This is short but worth the read! I really loved the commentary on family vs morality and our use of social media and how we sometimes spend all our time worrying about what everyone else is doing and not about how we’re reacting to what they’re doing and how that can be equally just as toxic.

It was an easy read. No character arc or big twist. The story just... was. Nevertheless, entertaining.

This is quick-moving, well-written, odd story of sisterly loyalty and murder.

I don't get it.
Full disclosure, I read this while on a bunch of medications and bed bound.
This book was a fast and easy read.
