3,5 stars maybe? An easy and accessible read which does a good job at highlighting what autism actually is. I personally would've loved a little more analysis because sometimes this becomes very anecdotal and some truly interesting points get brushed over a little too quickly (I would've loved an entire essay about how autistic women are so great at masking because being a woman is in itself being taught to disguise oneself) but Chloé is really lovely and it's nice hearing about her happy ever after :)

Informative, hopeful, and compelling, if a bit roughly written. There’s a decent balance of memoir and advice bolstered with a bit of research. The fairytale/happy ending framework occasionally feels jarring, given the reality of what it means to be autistic in the world, but I like the optimism of it.

A beautifully written account of like as an autistic woman and all the wonderful and not so wonderful things that come with it. I adore Chloé’s writing voice, it’s so personal and you can really feel her passion and love for what she’s doing in this book. I highly recommend for all autistic people who need proof that it’s possible for us to have wonderful lives, and for all neurotypicals to learn what life as an autistic person is really like, and how to support us best

This book is amazing. It is honest, it is completely authentic and inspiring and super informative with anecdotes, facts and well presented and embedded statistics. It is everything any Autistic person, especially female and FAB person needs to read/hear. I have found that it has inspired, encouraged and helped me find the confidence to embrace who I am more and be radical, be different, just be me and I've already started to dress more aligned to how I really want to, what brings me joy and is genuinely an expression of me, rather than to appear *put together* or "mature" (I'm just 32 by a few days). I can't thank Chloe enough for her book, it's amazing and I'm trying to convince my husband to read it ☺️

Overall quite good and I learned some things. Written in quite a conversational way, with contractions etc that was interesting. Still a bit confused why so many things had triggers but the section on Nazis and eugenics didn't.  A little tokenistic at times I think, could have included more perspectives and experiences. The author is a little prone to hyperbole too if you're unfamiliar with her work
