I have never read a book that has felt like me ever and I think this is a must read for anyone whether autistic or not. Chloe's raw emotions and stories really help me to empathise with them and with myself

Hands down one of the best books ever, as well as one of the best ND resources I've consumed. I felt very seen and reminded that I'm worthy of good things. I definitely will be forcing all of my ND friends to read this.

This book is aimed at young AFAB adults but as a 39 year old late diagnosed autistic woman I found it to be extremely validating. Chloe's writing style exudes natural ease and positivity which made the serious, challenging and important information accessible to all. Her choice to refer to Disney and fairytale metaphors throughout made everything easily digestible and memorable. Both of these things also gave us a lot of Chloe. Unapologetic, eye sparkling, infectious Chloe.

I found the sections about how rigid education and employment systems fail us, how incorrect language and labelling is ableist and about menstruation particularly interesting. I also thank Chloe for discussing autistic women and sexual assault, including her own experiences.

I'd definitely recommend this book to newly diagnosed autistic females of any age and their parents/significant others.
