I don't know how someone can tell a whole a** story in 151 pages and IT BE THE BEST THING YOU HAVE READ ALL YEAR. Forever Immortal is a novella, a part of the Vampire Brides Collection, and I just knew I had to read it when I saw Amelia Hutchins was writing it.

Isa and Cain are two sides of the same coin. On this journey, Isa learns that nothing in her whole life has been as it seemed. With help from Cain and her best friend, Jesse, she embarks on a journey to discover herself, who she really is and what that means, and taking down those who have wronged her.

If you haven't checked out Amelia, you're missing out. The Fae Chronicles is what drew me in and Fighting Destiny is free right now! Go check it out, you won't be dissapointed!

This one had all the right elements but it really fell flat on it's face for me near the end. I felt the author just didn't want to write it anymore and just threw the ending (terribly) together and called it a day. It's unfortunate because it had a lot of potential.

Another amazing story from Amelia Hutchins. While only a short story it still had great characters, a captivating plot and steamy romance. Loved it.

So rushed.

This was like the bones of what could be a great story, but with no meat on them. The world building was nonexistent and we learned absolutely nothing about the characters. That being said, the writing was good and I’m interested in the concept if, as it says in the blurb, the stories build upon each other.

This was my first book by Amelia Hutchins and I absolutely LOVED it! I loved the world she created, the fierce female that is Isa, the strong sexy male that is Cian, and the incredible creatures that made up this story. From beginning to end I was captivated, wondering that was going to happen next. There was action, lust, vulnerability, horror, and everything else under the sun.
The connection and chemistry between Isa and Cian was fantastic! I could feel what they felt. Getting to witness the push and pull, and then that strong mating bond. I thoroughly enjoyed going on this journey with them.

Unfortunately, not a favorite from an author I really, really like. It’s a novella so there is a very limited amount of time for anything to happen and I felt that rush while I was reading it; there were too many unresolved issues and too much telling instead of showing. I have no doubt this would have been awesome as a full length novel so if more stories come from this world I’d still be interested in reading it.
