Not as exciting as some of her other books. I was interested at most parts to finish it. Few lulls. The twist or mystery that unraveled seemed incongruous. Almost as if it was out of nowhere. But I suppose that means it was very unexpected.

Excellent book with vivid characters and lots of depth. Totally different to anything else I’ve read, and hopefully helps change the stigma associated with hoarding.

Can always rely on a Lisa Jewell book to pick you out of a reading slump.

This was a lot darker than I thought but glad I listened to the audiobook version so I enjoyed it a little more. At first, they seem like an average family with average family problems but there's so much to unpack. Saddened by how they all grew apart but everyone played a role in that. Glad that they were all able to make their way back to each other at the end.
