really enjoyed this book. garrett is perfect (audiobook actor garrett sounds perfect too). hannah is complex but relatable. no complaints. spicy scenes weren’t very graphic and there wasn’t a lot of them. what is there is lovely though 2.5/5.

lots of talk about rape so be prepared for that.

Hannah and Graham

I get that this is a very popular hockey romance but I really dislike the third act break up due to lack of communication. That lost a whole half a star

I liked how Kennedy wove in serious themes of recovering from trauma. and the two main characters living their life and moving forward, even if we don’t get resolution on past traumas.

Okay. First book in the Off Campus Series. It took me longer than I would've liked for me to finish the book. And i almost didn't go back to it. But i'm glad did.
As the first book of the series it did not disappoint. I actually really enjoyed it. The wit and humour in it is just me. Like i relate to it so much.
But this book had a lot of layers. Loads of trauma and broken teenagers trying to find peace in each other. This is somewhat relatable in the sense where we've all been through something and we hope to be lucky enough to find someone who could help you through that. And i hope everyone finds that one day because I know I have.
This book follows Garrett a star hockey player and Hannah a music major through the journey of love. It's kind of ironic that they got together since she had a crush on another guy when they first started talking. But that changed really quick. Them getting together was unexpected for them since she was just supposed to be helping him with a paper. But i think that just makes it better.
But the way Garrett and Hannah support each other through their struggles is really inspiring. I do think this book is an amazing read.
Make sure to pay attention to the trigger warnings though. At some parts it can get quite heavy emotinally. But it is written so well and it builds the perfect foundation for the rest of the series.

This was an amazing read. I don't know why I took so long to start this series, but it was a great start to the series. I started reading it and I just couldn't stop until I finished it. All of the characters are amazing, aside from Garrett's dad and the guys who hurt Hannah a a couple other characters as well. But the characters from the two main friend groups are all amazing and I loved them.

I now understand all the hype surrounding Garrett Graham. He's one of the sweetest characters I've ever read about. I love how sweet, gentle, and patient he is when it comes to Hannah. And he and Hannah are just so cute together. I couldn't get enough of them.

Their friends are just hilarious as well. I honestly can't wait to get into their stories. I'm really looking forward to Logan's story and Dean's story(and Tucker's but mostly Logan and Dean's stories for now since so far they showed up more than Tucker did).

So I'd definitely highly recommend this book. And I'm excited to get into the next one.

I liked the plot of the book, it had a lot potential. It started slow and in the right way, but somewhere in the half, I would say, something flipped and it started to all happen so quick.
For example (no spoilers (just random example) the main character Hannah would like a cat and next thing page she has one. What I liked in other books it that they also went kinda fast, but did tell how they got there instead of BAM done. This really made me just want to finish it as quick as possible so I could move on to the next book.
Also some characters were not talked alot about. Hannah's friends have names and that's what I know and remember of them. No good backstories or anything.

Even though I give al these negative points, I still completely read it. Mostly because it started to be less interesting in the middle, so I didn't want to stop cause then it would just be a waste of time. Would recommend for teens mostly and people searching for something fast to just shut their brain of.
