I received the book for free through Goodreads First Reads. It took me awhile to get to it because its the third in the series, so I had to track the other two down. A fun, paranormal, young adult read. I enjoyed this series so far, and I wish I was 14 again to enjoy it better! There seems to be a bit of a disconnection with the main character and her age, but maybe its because I am older.

Beautiful cover! Worth it just to look at it!

I enjoyed it. It made me so happy to know that Charlotte finally had what she always dreamed about and so much more. At the beginning (in the first book), all she wanted was love and to stop being invisible, and at the end she did get love in so many forms and she “became visible.” She found her soulmate, Scarlet. She made genuine connections with Prue & Pam & other classmates. She met her parents. And she met Eric. The ending of this book is bittersweet for me because what happens then? Once her friends and everyone she knows move on to the next step, what will happen then? Will they finally rest in peace? And what does that mean? Will it be like waking up from a dream but this time you won’t wake up again? I know they will always be in her heart but idk it makes me feel sad. At least she’s happy now and she learned so much that she became a professor (or something like that) for the next generation. I liked this book. I just couldn’t stand that Damen & Scarlet fought so much. That was painful to read.

This by far is the best one of the three.

Charlotte finds herself at work, living the dream or at least what you could get being dead. She fall in love with a guy from work and everything seems to be going really good until they are not, or so that seems.

They are assigned to work with people from the high school. Which by the way, are there only 3 people around the world or way the need to torture them again with that people.

Charlotte is assigned Damen, her formed crush, but now she knows that the living and the death must not be together. Also, there has been too much drama with him now. And her new crush is assigned Scarlet.

Charlotte really wants to do her work as good as she can. And trying to keep them together is key. But it is not as easy as it seems. Even the death have insecurities about themselves so she is constantly wondering if her boyfriend is really into her or not.

Meanwhile, Scarlet seems to be getting to know and kinda fall in love with someone, who is no other than! Drum rolls! Charlotte's boyfriend. So that's what I call bad luck!!!!

Everything starts to get complicated, and it is a test to see if real love would prevail.

The story is full of messages about self love and friendship. About getting to know yourself and to be there for the ones you love. It is also about learning to let go and give out everything you have to do what's right.

Read it as a teen. Had all three books. Read them all. Liked them.( I was a teen). Gave them away cause I knew I wouldn’t read them again. Recommend to TEENS. Praise Satan.
Pd. Cant really remember the plot of any of them, except the first one.

I have to say that this one was really good but the first book is still the best one in the series (so far) and since the first book can be a stand-alone novel. And out of all the three, this is my favorite book cover in the series so far and the phrases before each chapter was definitely worth reading and very fitting with the story, as it should.

I especially enjoyed the part where Scarlet and Eric talks about their love for music because I'm a music addict myself. Maybe I don't know much as they do but I do love the witty way of the author created the character's conversations.

I've read in some reviews that this book wasn't well written and that they were dissapointed because they were expecting a darker plot and not some ghosts who work for a call center but I really liked it. The writing was superb. Probably needs improvement, yes but I couldn't even done it better myself.

I've first encountered "Ghostgirl" back in 2008 when it was just an "internet thing". A character who died but never really had the "time of her life" and she always felt invisible. And at that time, I already liked it. Probably because I know for a fact that I could heavily relate to it and I was looking forward to hear more of ghostgirl and by the time I knew it was a book, I was glad to have read it.
