Originally when I was halfway through I would’ve rated this book probably 4 stars or higher. HOWEVER I don’t know who started the damaged main character and miscommunication thing but I hope they’re rotting away because it sucks. Cassie so clearly needs therapy and I understand having a past and trauma and everything but why does that affect every area of your life it’s annoying. Even with characters like Aiden and Wanda who I’m very grateful for and helped balance out Cassie’s nonsense somewhat she was still too much. Like you’re just an idiot at that point with no growth and not getting any better because of what happened in the past. Please just stop and think for a second babe because it’s embarrassing. Anyways by the end I was tired of her bs and I skipped her chapters after the third act breakup which was so unnecessary especially since aiden acted his age. Like I cannot gripe about it enough that it’s so annoying when a character thinks so lowly of themselves it’s annoying people need to write books about people who are healing not broken. Besides that the idea of the book was really good. I enjoyed it a lot besides Cassie and I’m not completely mad I read it.

Ok I’m adding this I’m sorry this is so long this book really made me annoyed at some points. But other people were saying there wasn’t much of a plot. I agree with that I love good smut but I love it with some plot too. In the beginning it made it seem like something huge happened for Cassie to stop OF and at the end it seemed like it was just what happened with Aiden like huh. That wasn’t deep at all or as extra as it was being portrayed. But whatever I’m over it.
