This book had a cute premise, and I thought it had a good sense of tension when Cassie had to
hide her birthmark from Aiden.
But I did think she should have figured it out a little sooner, since the
gift he sent her would have been postmarked from nearby (plus he probably would have faintly recalled her mailing address?)
and his username was pretty obviously of a chef. But it had a cute little happy ending, and I thought that character of the daughter was written really well. But whew, this was long. I feel like the book might have been able to lose about a third of the length and been still fully formed. I didn't always need every thought that passed through Cassie's head. Oh ALSO. You're trying to make me believe that a fine dining chef can't cook waffles? That is just too much for me.

Honestly not bad! Cassie is a struggling student who takes up a nannying job to pay bills after quitting OnlyFans and getting let go from her last job. Aiden is a chef and father to Sophie who used to be Cassies biggest supporter online. I really enjoyed the dynamic between Sophie and Cassie, Cassie and Aiden, and Aiden and Sophie. I think it was pretty well balanced and felt very natural and funny. I think my problems came with the balance of dialogue/emotional connection to sex. They had so much sex and they were horrible communicators. Like every fights/the big climax would have been an easy solve if they would just have a conversation. It pissed me off so bad that they knew they sucked at communicating and NEVER worked ok it/addressed it. Also I usually never complain about smut (who would?) but, theres like one too many smut scenes here. Feels a tad unbalanced with the lack of communication.
