This book had a cute premise, and I thought it had a good sense of tension when Cassie had to hide her birthmark from Aiden. But I did think she should have figured it out a little sooner, since the gift he sent her would have been postmarked from nearby (plus he probably would have faintly recalled her mailing address?) and his username was pretty obviously of a chef. But it had a cute little happy ending, and I thought that character of the daughter was written really well. But whew, this was long. I feel like the book might have been able to lose about a third of the length and been still fully formed. I didn't always need every thought that passed through Cassie's head. Oh ALSO. You're trying to make me believe that a fine dining chef can't cook waffles? That is just too much for me.
