I really wanted to love this one! I was working on my backstock of book reviews, and when I came across Knot All that Glitters, I was reminded of the first book in this series, this one, and even saw another one scheduled to come out in October! I could not wait to read that book, so I went back to read this one. I don’t know if it was where I was struggling with reading lately or just wanting more chaos in the book, but I was left wanting more. The book wasn’t bad. Don’t get me wrong, I did enjoy Esme’s story, but I really wanted some of the drama followed through, like her standing up to the press, the matchmaker causing drama, or even some left-field bad guy appearing, but we didn’t get that at all. I wanted a little more focus on her artwork and even seeing her pack meet her sisters because I feel like they would’ve all been hanging out a lot since the twins are so close. I just feel like tattoo artists would get a lot with rock bands. But it was an excellent omegaverse, and we had a ton of scenes with her and her pack. They do come together pretty early in the book, so we see a lot of steamy moments, but they don’t fully bond until the very end of the book due to Esme’s own issues. The book focuses heavily on her and her poor self-image; honestly, she had a very rough life growing up. It always seemed like they shoved her into a box that she didn’t fit in, and she was out on an island all alone. It was really devastating to learn just how alone she was, even though she and her twin really relied on one another a lot. They had completely different upbringings.

Be prepared for the insta-love trope! It’s tastefully done but if you’re not big on instant connections, this is not the book for you. It’s also an RH with some very spicy scenes that may be triggering for some readers, you’ve been warned.

I want to say I couldn’t relate to Esme but who doesn’t have mommy issues? I certainly have some stuff to think about after reading this one!

I loved this so much. Seeing Esme be confident enough to be herself and love who she really was was worth the 500 pages. But the romance was so great. The guys all had very distinct personalities and were so sweet to her. There was a miscommunication at the end, which I usually hate, but this one felt understandable given Esme’s biggest fears and the situation.

I enjoyed that IMMENSELY!

The smut? Amazing. The relationships? Phenomenal. The coziness? Great.

Didn’t love the typical miscommunication towards the end but it honestly fit, especially with the FMC’s existing insecurities and it was resolved very quickly.

I struggle to find omegaverse books that give me the same feelings that Lola and the Millionaire’s did but this is the first in a while that came close!

For me omegaverse books are hit or miss, and I'm so glad this book was a hit.

Esme has been forced all her life to play a persona due to the fact that her sister is one of the most famous omega actresses in the world, and she couldn't let anything that she did or said mess with her career. The fact that they are twins only adds to Esme's problems. She loves her sister but it's hard finding a pack when the men come expecting a copy of her twin. Esme has almost gave up on finding a pack until she scent matches with a man at a club. The two gets the chance to meet again thanks to her twin's meddling, and although cautious, Esme decides to give it a try and spend time with him and his pack.

Esme has been put down a lot in her life, and she fights to be recognised for who she is and not for what she looks like. I love how strong she is, and this story turned it into my favourite book by the author.

I was kindly provided with an ARC by the author, but I'm leaving a voluntary and honest review.
