When I saw this series was called SOFTEST KINKSTERS I knew I had to read it because I've never heard anything more suited for me. HOLDING ON was so unbelievably soft and tender and sexy and just the perfect hug of a romance. Our two unnamed MCs have their first official date that goes perfectly until the female MC goes to leave and a bad storm triggers her PTSD. Instead of leaving, she finds comfort and support in the male MC as they explore their desires.

The page count is short but it feels so much fuller even though we're only seeing a small glimpse of these characters' story. I also found it really interesting that the MCs had no names and while it was a bit strange at first it really fits the overall vibe of the story. Ali Williams does a fantastic job of showing the emotional rush at the start of a relationship -- that almost hazy glow of first kisses, the slight shyness and vulnerability of being with someone new -- it was just all written so well.

CW: talk of past car accident, PTSD, panic attack

This was exactly as advertised. This was the softest, kinky story. The characters are nameless, but you feel their happiness being around each other and their sexual hunger. Every bit of the story was lovely.
