I haven't read any books by this author before this but I liked this short story (and the audible narrator really is good). It's short but full of adventure an innocence. I want to read more about Suri and Minna.

With this I've completed my reading of MJS's body of works in the world of Elan. It was a cute story, and there was a little twist at the end that I hadn't figured out when reading Esrahaddon, which was nice.

Representative of the author's style of writing and the narrator's voice, but the story itself wasn't that great, cut a bit too short. The full series was really good though.

One of the best short fictions I’ve read in a long time. If you’re in for a short adventure, go forth and conquer.

A nice, little short story about two of my most favorite characters (Suri and Mina) in First Empire series.

10/10 for fun characters, subtle worldbuilding, and an accurate portrayal of the stubbornness of a child. Two thumbs up, and I'll definitely look into more books by this author.
