As much as I loved the trilogy and couldn't wait for the story of these two characters, it just didn't work out at all. The plot line was so ridiculous and there could've been a much better explanation of why these two went from friends to enemies in the first place. It was just dissapointing.

Creo que leer tanto libro tóxico seguido me está empezando a afectar el cerebro porque este, de hecho, no me pareció tan insoportable como el primero, o a lo mejor es porque no me tomé en serio esta trama ridícula

Meh I mean I didn’t love the last book either but I was looking forward to this one. I didn’t hate it I just didn’t feel much of anything. I don’t think I’ll carry on with the series just because I don’t really care about the other characters.

very big check the TWs for this book!

okay so I love dark romances and I love angst and this did it SOOOO WELL omfg when Kimberly
Spoilerslit her wrists
and Xander
Spoileris the first to find her bc of her text
OOOOH I ATE THAT SHIT UP!!!!!! literally perfect to me omfg that is just PEAK angst. I wish more of these dark/bully romances would go down that path bc I think it makes the redemption so much sweeter and if that makes me a bit fucked in the head, so be it!

also big lmao at another romance story where the characters believe
Spoiler they’re siblings
for maybe one chapter before the author is like LOL GOTCHA! JK JK JK JK! they really never let that one linger 😂

I was looking forward to reading their book and it was very sad tbh.
This book might be the softest Rina Kent book I've read bcz all the other books have the same possesive dom alpha male character and the sunshine or either 'different' girl but Kim was a sweetheart.
The things she went through were really difficult and I feel so sad bcz she had to go through these things all those years which led to her taking harsh descisions.I just love Kim and all my love and support towards her<3
I didn't understand why Xander was acting like a dick to her but then when i got to know the reason maybe his actions were justified from his point if view bcz he had been living with that fact for 6-7 years.
I still loved them tho.
Kirian was the cutest.
I love how Xander was soft to her instead of the alpha male dom and made love to her instead of straight up hard sex.
I've read Cecliy's book and I'm proud that Xan and Kim are really good parents and they got their happily ever after.
Also the nickname 'Green' was so cute and beautiful.
Overall this might be the story to have a slightly different plot than Rina Kent's other books because all I've read is the hero forcing the heroine to not ignore him and the so called connection and the fast forward sex etc with the same story but different characters but i still enjoy it tho lmao.
So yeah i liked it.

Definite soap opera drama happening here. I ate it up and cried and was shocked with the kim event and then the info Xander revealed after that even though it was obvious there was some kind of misunderstanding there. The last 30% felt too light and rushed to tie up their story so it was meh.
