I didn't think most of the situations were funny, but there was enough humor in the dialog and prose to get me through. Still, I can't imagine clamoring for 3,000 more pages of Jeeves as people apparently did a century ago.

Best light reading ever, what? You know what he's like? All conversational and that sort of thing.

By Jove, it's a fun distraction!
This lighthearted collection of stories made for nice break from the fantasy and sci-fi I've been reading recently. The characters of Jeeves and Wooster - which are only in a few of the stories - were humorous and will continue to entertain beyond the dated prose of Wodehouse.

Fun stories. I’ve always wondered about Jeeves and now I know. Short stories that are entertaining.

This collection of short stories didn’t grab my attention immediately, but by the end of the second one I was hooked and I couldn’t wait to hear what king of social shenanigans the characters were going to get into.

For having been published in 1919, this stands up considerably well still in 2023.
