Great start to a new series! It is not imperative to read the other books but reading them will make the story richer. This is the first time I have read a "next generation" story. You meet Lily and Maverick in Road to Redemption and Road to Absolution. They are both cute and as a reader I was hoping we would get their story! This book is classic Piper Davenport, there are alpha males, strong ladies and the MC. I loved reading how Lily and Mav grew together in their romance and the real struggles they had. Overall another great story and I can't wait for the next book!
