It was action & emotion with a side of family dedication. Invoking emotions of surprise & wonder.
Most intriguing was the complexity of the environment; it brought the story to life.

Aside from the brilliant execution of world-building and the relationship between the two sisters, I found the Interlude only vaguely necessary. Other than that minor issue with the interludes, a well written piece.

This certainly has value. Characters were complex & the design of the world too.
Would certainly read another one.

A bit on the long side - and that may be a deterrent for some readers; especially readers who shy away from anything over 500 pages. However, I would say that this one is absolutely worth the read!! Take the jump and invest in this lengthy read - you wont be disappointed.

This is an epic fantasy book based on ancient Greece. The world building is beautiful, the character development is great. This book is so very much that words can't really adequately describe the experience of reading it.

WOW! This author really surprised me. This book contains big world building and gets a bit confusing at times but it is SOOO good!! Bouvier created such an epic fantasy world. I am so in love with it and its characters.  

Some key words to describe the book: Fantasy, Gods, Humans, Slavery, Powers, Survival, Family, Found Family, Politiques, War, Romance, ... It has so many good elements!!

I instantly fell in love with the 2 sisters, Katell and Alena. I enjoyed every bit of their story. Not only do I love these 2 FMC'S but ofcourse I also fell in love with our 3 main boys Leukos, Dorias and Nik. This story has a variety of amazing characters and I felt the empathy towards every single one of them. I was connected to the story the entire time and I love when that happens while reading.

It has a great plot and some unexpected but crazy good plottwists! Can't stop saying how much I loved it all. Really looking forward to the 2nd book!

I really enjoyed reading this book! The relationship between the sisters, their undying loyalty to each other was incredible. This is a very long book and it was kind of hard to get into at first but it quickly became intense and riveting. I love a good slow burn romance and this book gave me that. The world building was fantastic and immersive. I will definitely be recommending to everyone!
