‘I’ve had the best life being fucked up by you.’

Oh my goodness. What a toxic messy little relationship this is, but it had me hooked. I can’t say I am rooting for or even particularly like the characters. Especially not BJ but I did love this book and definitely can’t wait to read on!

I really didn't expect to enjoy this, so I was pleasantly surprised that I kind of did if I'm honest! It certainly isn't the masterpiece that some people online have said it to be, but I definitely get the 'Gossip Girl' vibes that have been suggested. I say that with a grain of salt, and because I thought Magnolia was very similar to Selena in the fact that she was needy and attention seeking and needed everyone to love her.

Now let's get something clear - this isn't a romance book in my opinion AT ALL. Their so called 'relationship' is just disgustingly toxic. Magnolia Parks has serious issues with attention, with a desire to string people along and just use them for her own gain. And BJ is just doing everything he can to get some type of reaction from her (because she totally strings him along), that includes sleeping with everyone and also doing drugs. They definitely don't belong together, as proven by the end of this book (something that I totally guessed, by the way). Both of them are as bad as each other! That being said, I did quite enjoy the book and wouldn't be against reading the second one (but I'm not desperate and obsessed with it).

i love it but i hate but i love it

ok. first of all tror jeg ikke har lest en bok med så toxic, frustrerende og heartbreaking forhold og karakterer. magnolia and bj, ew. likte ikke bj på starten, og hatet han enda mer på slutten. i en setning sier han at magnolia er tloml og i SAMME setning kan han syntes en jente er digg som han mest sannsynlig kommer til å ligge med etterpå.
