This was really fun! I loved the banter between the two main characters, and the pacing of the story was really nice - nothing felt too dragged out. The third-act conflict dampened my overall impression of the book, but this was still and excellent read for me.

Cute. Finally, a romance that I actually enjoyed this year! It's kiiind of insta-lovey considering everything takes place in the span of a couple weeks, but the denial and longing are there so it doesn't feel too rushed.  Marianne was a little too dense but I can excuse it on account of her being 17 and heavily insecure. I would have loved more detailed descriptions of Edenbrooke itself.
