"but if it's possible the mouth / might still be sexy after grease spurts out of a burrito / on the last bite we may be in the business of / a survivable universe or at least a tolerable one / which before it kills us makes us visible" -- these last lines from "WHEN I LOOK OUTSIDE MY WINDOW I CAN'T GET NO PEACE OF MIND" really struck me.

Other favorite poems -- EXIT STRATEGIES, SLEEPING BY THE LION CARPET, and TOPOGRAPHY OF ALTERNATES, which has these lines that also really hit me:

"Is there another body / buried underneath this one / and could it carry inside it / a necropolis of other / bodies that I'll always love / better than my own"
