Would I read it again? Yeah, probably. I was confused the entire time though. I don't know exactly how to describe it but it felt like being snugly wrapped in a blanket cocoon and your parent comes and tells you a story except they forgot to bring a book with them so they made it up as they went. (Not saying that's a bad thing, it also feels warm and gentle like a parent telling you a made-up-as-they-went bedtime story)
Sorry to whoever has this listed as their favourite book. I didn't like it as much as I hoped I would. It's not that long so if you were thinking about reading it, then go for it; but if someone asked me "hey, what should I read next?" I don't know if I'd recommend it.
Also, I would give it to a kid to read (even though some say it's not really a kid's book) and then I'd give it to them again when they're like 18, just to see what they think, 'cause I didn't read this as a kid, so I wouldn't really know what it's like to look back at this and realise all those things.

Read it in French. When, you know, I could read French.

A book that I always go back to when I feel lost in this adult world. One of the most wonderful stories I’ve read both as a child and as an adult, but that means so much more to me now. I remember feeling lonely, a failure, like I needed to prove something and be someone I wasn’t, and picking up this book and crying because it touched my heart in such a special way. The magic of hearing the stars laugh will always live within me. I can’t explain how much this book makes me appreciate in such a different way the night sky, children and, perhaps most importantly, myself.

An inspirational story from out of this world that reminds us just what is important on earth. I can see why so many people treasure the book and reread it throughout life.

Já tinha lido pequenos excertos desta história e, confesso, todos eles me cativaram.
