A Gorgeous Villain is the second book in the St. Mary's Rebels series and the rest of Callie and Reed's story. This one was an entertaining and emotional read with plenty of steamy moments and twists and turns you won't see coming. It also has plenty of angst, tension and heartbreak. All in all a decent read.

Stefanie Kay and Gideon Frost did a great job portraying these characters.

first of all THERE WAS NO GROVELING AT ALLLLLLLL. second of all the whole fairy and villain thing became too much at page 50 at most. like i said this girl acts like a kid cause she still is a kid and this dude is just BOOO. i am too tired of mmc acting bad cause he has a shitty family thing like enough. the only time i was proud and happy was when i thought she actually slept with someone i was through the roof screaming crying but alas can never be too happy. the writing also reminds me when i tried to reach a certain word count. also also the realization scene where he realized he was in love with her was so ass.

I listened to this book in Audio and unfortunately I did not enjoy this book at all. It was extremely difficult to get through any chapter without skipping ahead. There was so much inner monologue and way too many adjectives and descriptions of the same things over and over. I really wanted to enjoy this book and I am so sad that I was not able to.

DNF at 78%. I found myself picking it up, reading a few paragraphs & putting it back down & eventually realized it was because I just do not like either of the MCs. At all. There was a point where I was trying to read it on the toilet & yelled out loud "FUCK THIS BOOK." It's a shame because I really do enjoy most of Kent's other books & appreciate how unique their storylines are. This one just did not work for me.

A Gorgeous Villain has been my most anticipated read right after I've finished reading My Darling Arrow. When I finally got to read this book, I can say that it's totally worth the wait because it reaches all of my expectations.

First of all, this book continues after The Wild Mustang & The Dancing Fairy. If you still haven't read the prequel, it's better for you to read it to better understand their entire story. Now, I don't want to talk further to avoid any spoilers.

In this book, I seriously liked Callie & Reed. We get to see a deeper side of their personalities and surprisingly, they were very likable. I just love seeing the amount of care that these two have for one another especially Reed. The responsibility that he was willing to carry makes me adore him so much. Whereas for Callie, her strong mature persona proved what an amazing character she truly is. The relationship that these two have really captivated me especially when it comes to their chemistry & sexual tensions.

Overall, I think this book is another win for me because it's very enjoyable and satisfying. Not only did we get to read about CallieReed, but we also get some crumbs and foreshadowing on what's going to happen in the future books. I think Saffron did an amazing job in delivering AGV because the entire storyline is just well developed. Highly recommend for everyone to give this book a chance ❤

P.S I'm extremely excited for Wyn's book. LIKE OMG?! All the tropes in These Thorn Kisses are superior and my absolute favorite. I'm pretty sure that I'm going to cry when we finally got the book.

A Gorgeous Villain is the second book in the St. Mary’s Rebels series and the continuation of Callie and Reed’s story. I really enjoyed how attentive Reed was with Callie despite the distance he kept between them. Their love story was filled with angsty moments and lots of tension. I loved their ending, and can’t wait to read the other characters stories.

Stefanie Kay and Gideon Frost did a really good job portraying these characters.
