A bit of a mystery, a bit of adventure and a bit of romance. Main focus on the adventure.
I kind of like that the cat is basically a killer, that's a new one

Dead Tide is really part 2 to the preceding book, you will want to read that before reading this. This is fun, but light, tale mixing fanciful history and pirates with a story of four sisters coming into understanding their paranormal powers.

It actually had a small part from Belladonna’s POV! Powers are growing. Some new information is given us about the Sheriff and we get to see a little from his POV. I think the storyline about Cal and Celeste wasn’t given the same quality of attention that I became accustomed to in the other books. Pretty pleased with it as a whole though. Can’t wait until the next book. Thank you, library fairies!

I didn’t like this one as much as the first two, but it did wrap up a story arch that was in the first two. The insta love in these books are getting to be a bit much. I can already see the one that’s going to happen probably in the next book, but I’d like if they didn’t continue that in the series. Growing them overtime would work so much better. That’s big part that’s holding these books back from getting 5⭐️ Still looking forward to the rest of the series!
