This book was written and takes place in post WW2 america and it shows. It’s a product of it’s time to be sure but if you can stomach that the manic pixie dream girl story is cute.laineydunne's review against another edition

Of its time, outdated, wouldn't read again, homophobic and racial slurs aplenty. Extra stories were very strange. I liked the idea that a stranger can become any type of person that you need them to become
