This might just be the best book I’ve ever read in my 25 years of living.

I loved listening to the book, but I'm glad to finish it. I don't know, whether I liked Babel or not.

I think the biggest loss on me are absolutely uninteresting characters, with a few exceptions. I wish Victoire would be more than she is in the book — a walking-talking political manifesto, mais je m'en ficshe.
The magic system seems work only for the British in the whole world and the whole history of mankind, and I have issues with it.
In terms of language use, this is not a Susanna Clark's genius work.
