Oh okay. This book was def better than the first 3. It had more sense of direction than the first 3 and we actually got to the point of Amelie being how she is.

I can't review this book very well without spoiling it for everyone. However I liked this one the best. It was more exciting and I like the character's attitudes and personalities in this more than I did before hand.

I'm also a little more annoyed at how it was left than I was with the first 3, its such a cliffhanger and I'm dying to know what happens and to who.

Even though I enjoyed this Morganville Vampires installment, I felt like it was only the first half of a book. I love Rachel's writing and have read all of her Weather Warden and Outcase series, but I feel that this series is getting short-changed with character development and follow-through at times. Maybe it's a YA thing? I will keep reading and see how things progress...

meh, this wasn't particularly my favourite I will admit. I cried in this one too, because someone who I thought would stay till the end died... not to mention Amelie's father, Bishop is in town! UGH. And when there's Bishop, there's François and Ysandre. Who I absolutely hate with a passion.. no really I do. yuck. ANYWAYS, Bishop hosts this feast and then thats when the action comes. tsk tsk tsp Rachel Caine, at this scene you made me cry! This scene where the feast happens is by far the best point of the book, obviously. But where there were sad points, there were good and funny points as well! Caine, you crack me up! literlly! I found myself laughing hysterically at the babble between Myrnin and Claire. Im telling you, I adore those two! Again, this wasnt the best book but the feast and what happens is the main highlight. So if your unsure to read this, I say read it so you can go onto the next book. The books in this series can't be read in any way on their own, you need to read the books in order to really love this series.

Yet another awesome installment in the Morganville Vamps series! (And that cover is H-O-T.) This series is honestly one of my all time favorites, I haven't been disappointed yet!

There's more suspense and action in this book, because now Bishop is mixing things up and causing lots of deadly trouble for Morganville. I really don't care much for Bishop since he's the bad guy here, but his character seems intriguing. He's not one of those 'evil villain' types that is just there to be an obstacle. He adds to the story immensely.

The whole cast of characters is on-par as always. Claire continues to grow and mature. I often forget that she's only 16 from the way she handles all the insanity and life-threatening danger in a rational way. Michael, Eve, and Shane are still as awesome as ever; and yep, Shane is still a major hottie. My favorite character by far, though, is Myrnin. He's so... eccentric and insane! He's unpredictable, so reading about him is like walking a tight-rope.

If you've read the previous books, but not Feast of Fools yet, then go and read it soon! Definitely awesome. 5 out of 5.
