5,000 Kilometers Per Second is beautiful and stunning graphic novel about the subtitlies, unspoken assumptions, and missed opportunities in any romantic relationship. As the title suggests, 5,000 Kilometers Per Second is a book about time as well, and in particular, how time, space, and distance shrink, expand, and collapse.

ok, now this is just pissing me off. why does no one else love this goddamn book? it actually took me a while to get used to this art -- didn't fall immediately in love like most people -- but by the end, i was really feeling it. also, i just re-read the last page of the book, and now my heart hurts. how did you heathens rate it one or two stars? well, i guess i know how fangirls feel when i diss Twilight or 50 Shades.

Bittersweet graphic novel about almost lovers as they age, never quite connecting. Lovely, soft watercolor artwork.

I loved how the colours were used to create feeling in such a complexly simple life story. Wether they were used to convey temperature or temperament- it did so just perfectly and clearly. This was good.

E poi, a me la storia è piaciuta (:
