The epitome of what a thriller should be.

Really wanted to love the story from start to finish, but it lost me once part 3 started. Was I supposed to be rooting for Lily? Because I wasn’t. Good story overall with lots of twists, but the ending just didn’t make sense and who was the reader supposed to connect with? With Ted gone in Part 1, I found myself “hate” reading the book. Also Lily would have been much smarter than burying Brad on her family’s property....

After all of the hype around this book, I just expected more.

Quick, twisty thriller. Definitely a few things I dodn't see coming, which I always appreciate. Looking forward to his next book.

What an engrossing, beautiful, twisted and disturbing read. Peter Swanson has just catapulted himself into the "I will read anything you write," category.
I know he has another novel out, which I will look to read immediately. And of course, I cannot recommend this book enough. It is similar to GONE GIRL in some respects, but I thought it much more resembled A SIMPLE PLAN, by Scott Smith.
In any event, it stands alone on its own feet, a brilliant thriller.
