Was really not liking the first two parts of this book, I was like what the hell is this? And then it got better, much better. Can't wait to get the second volume to find out what's going on.

First off, I feel like I may have missed some goings-on in the greater Marvel universe. And I know that I had initially forgotten some important information from previous Deadpool series that related to this one.
Vol. 1 of Duggan's newest Deadpool run takes some time to get started. The second half is better. This volume does have a lot of what is good about Deadpool. It also takes the character and the series in some different directions that I'm not sure really work. However, with the ongoing improvement of this volume and the promising ending, I believe/hope that this series will still be worth reading.
It wasn't necessarily bad, but it felt like a weaker entry into Deadpool's story. There is certainly still some merit, though, and I look forward to volume 2.

I love Deadpool but something about this was just kind of lacking. Plot was kind of confusing at times, but I can't fault the art.

Not nearly as good as I was expecting to it be, but not bad either. The comic had it's funny moments, but for someone looking for a good quality Deadpool comic that focuses on just him, this is more like Deadpool and Co. While it read fairly well and I followed it without having read its previous chapters, I would recommend that anyone looking to pick this volume up, do the research and read the other volumes ahead of it.
A lot of heartfelt moments and character development that came mostly from the focus on the team that Deadpool put together, with a little of his development thrown in on the side. But the disappointment for me came in that the comic felt rushed, the conflict's beginning, middle and end coming in just short of 20 pages still the end, leaving the resolution feeling empty and cheap.
2.5/5, A good title to read, but not necessarily add to a shelf.

Fun. A little less metatextual than the Deadpools I love. But I've been at enough cons that had such a rich murder of Deadpools, see, e.g., https://www.flickr.com/search/?text=deadpool&user_id=13166745%40N07&rb=1&sort=interestingness-desc that this really tickled me. (at least, I want the collective noun for Deadpools to be murder.) The Big Bad was a little underwhelming, but came by his Deadpool hate honestly. And the idea of Deadpool forming a superhero team of ALL DEADPOOLS makes way too much sense.
