Much like Mr. Hastings, I did not see what Poirot was able to piece together. And I immediately ruled out the killer. Overall it was a fun Hercule Poirot story that I would recommend

What an amazing mystery Mrs. Christie has spun! As her first book, I was expected to be blown away by the queen of mystery, and indeed I was. Though there were some instances where it dragged on, and the vocabulary was most definitely a product of its time, overall The Mysterious Affair at Styles was an interesting read, with a twist reveal you honestly will not see coming, and the debute of one of the best detectives in literary history! Hats off to you, Monsieur Poirot, I’m looking forward to the next amazing adventure of yours!

First Agatha Christie book for me. I will say I’m impressed. Not sure if I’m invested in the entire series but I just had to read at least one Agatha lol.

This was my first agatha criste book, I know you don't have to read them in order but I just felt like it. I was good, it was fun to read and predict and I made me think. It was actually just a lot of fun to read
