I loved everything about it EXCEPT the fact that 26 year old Chu Wanning has feelings for a 15 year old Mo Ran.

These characters are just such terrible people in a way that cannot be redeemed, coming from a big fan of mdzs

This was very compelling and interesting and something I wanted to read as I am a fan of MXTX’s books, I wanted to start reading Meatbun’s work as well. I love the characters and is super interesting but the shizun and student dynamic and underage aspect seems much more stark and explicit than say SVSSS. It’s a little uncomfortable but if you set that aside it is a very compelling. I will be continuing but something to keep in mind if that’s not your cup of tea

The main character sucks. He's a narcissistic ass who would forcefully kiss the "love" of his life.

It started off a little slow for me, but towards the end, everything started happening, and it was getting really good. I honestly can't wait to start vol. 2. I am so annoyed (not in a bad way) with all of the misunderstandings that I want to bang my head against a wall!!! Also devastated right at the end when
Chu Wanning was saving Mo Ran, he didn't know it was actually CW saving him since the boddies where swapped, and since the book ended we don't know if he finds out it wasn't Shi Mei.

Honestly, the synopsis didn’t interest me at first but I’ve been looking forward to start 2ha since I loved Yuwu so much! I enjoyed it more than I expected to. I like Meatbun’s writing style with how she sets up character arcs. And it was easy to follow references to the past without it sounding choppy. That being said, this story isn’t for everyone considering the long list of trigger warnings. I’m personally intrigued to continue to see Mo Ran and Chu Wanning settle their misunderstandings. In addition, to see why there are certain events that differed from Mo Ran’s previous life.

I NEVER would've thought this book was THAT good wtf, I started reading with my best friend and the begining was a little bit slow but then it picked up the pacing and I became familiar with the characters and holy shit did this hurt but it was so worth it, I'm immediately starting the next one
