3.5 stars.
They cut out waaaaay too much. All the scenes with Calypso? Gone. I’m pretty sure Ethan wasn’t in it at all, and while they talked about Chris, they never showed his relationship with Clarisse. Juniper was gone too. Mrs. O’Leary was different too, she was really vicious. Obviously they can cut out some stuff, but for this one too much was cut.
I did, however, really enjoy the art style in this particular book. I think everyone was drawn pretty well. Tyson actually looked like how I pictured him, and not weird looking like the movies portrayed him.

The book is nice but leaves out loads amount of beautiful storyline details I would definitely suggest to read the book than the graphic novel you’ll be baffled with amount of details left out

Not as book-accurate as I would like (where was grover’s power of the Wild screaming and Rachel’s blue plastic hairbrush? and percabeth’s first kiss??) and I was not a fan of how they handled the Calypso island thing, but it was still pretty good and the art style is better this time
Graphic: Violence, Child death, and Death
Minor: Blood

Ot was pretty good although I wish they didn’t change the Calypso scenes, or the kiss

Such a major improvement, my issues still stand with leaving out major plot points and cutting out stuff for the sake of making it 128 pages and this book suffers since it’s longer than the other three, it would’ve been two stars if they hadn’t changed the art. Everyone is distinct and well drawn and it really has that boyish charm from the Percy Jackson series I expected the graphic novels to have. This one was also defiantly the easiest to follow if you also weren’t a book reader or haven’t read it in a while. This is a good companion to the series for people who are looking to see the characters come alive.

The artist work changed in this edition. It was more vibrant...I think that is the word. However, I found myself going back to the novel to what was really going on, because some things just ended so abruptly. This is actually my favorite book in series and I almost want to go back and read the actual book.
Again, not horrible, but I wasn't sad to see it end.
