It's fine, I just didn't connect with the characters so unfortunately I wasn't interested in the story.

Could work for others though :)

3 stars. This book was a cute one-sided enemies/rivals to lovers.

Things i disliked from the book: the main girl character had her moments where she annoyed me so much and i have a deep dislike for her dad. I was 38% in and i was like oh my god when will this end because her dad frustrated me so much

Is romance just really bad nowadays or did I just lose the ability to be amazed by it already at the sweet age of 24? Who knows.

This was such a great book! It was so charming and such a well written story ❤️ I loved the ups and downs of Natalie and Reid and the enemies to lovers plot so much. Even though Natalie kind of irritated me at first, she won me over in the end. The author gave her such a good story arc and redemption that by the end I was smiling ear to ear and rooting for Natalie and Reid to be together.

Enemies to lovers. Childhood competitors to co-directors. Natalie definitely got the short end of the stick. Imagine having a dad who is a musical teacher with your mom’s best friend’s son who is a musical prodigy, aka your dad has given his attention to him instead of you. This grudge has driven you away from the clarinet and trust in your father. However, with budget cuts, somehow the fine arts have to work together to save it for next year. Nevertheless, Natalie seemed so childish and made such bad decisions. Let him screw you over! LET HIM GOOO.
