It's another fantastic volume that has so many great scenes! The crew is still trying to figure out how to get to the Sky Island, but they've got a lead: Montblanc Cricket, the descendant of the infamous explorer Montblanc Noland. Noland was born many centuries ago in the North Blue and claimed that a great treasure existed on Jaya. Unfortunately, he couldn't prove it and ended up getting executed in shame. People started calling him a liar and mocking his descendants, but Cricket was determined to find the gold and prove that everyone was wrong. Initially, Cricket is suspicious of the Strawhats but once he realizes that they're serious about the Sky Island, he's willing to tell them about Nolan, whose story has become an urban legend!

My favorite part of this volume was the crew trying to catch a South Bird, as it's the only way to get the Merry to the Knockup Stream which will jet them into the sky. The bird is not easy to catch and it continues mocking them (it's so funny because Chopper can understand other animals) 😂 The Strawhats split up into groups and my favorite group was Sanji, Nami and Usopp. Sanji's making clear he'll only protect the lady but when a bunch of bugs show up it's Usopp who is unaffected. Meanwhile, Nami and Sanji are cowering and grossed out by all the spiders! I love that Usopp - who is usually scared of everything - isn't afraid of bugs as he used to play with them. Sanji's usually the protector, but he despises spiders (same!) and is quick to eat his earlier words 😂

In the end, it's a race to get to the Sky Island, especially as the mysterious man from Jaya shows up and plans to hunt them for their bounties. We get a lot of great scenes, from Cricket and Masira working together to Luffy confronting Bellamy and the World Government searching for a replacement for Crocodile (and introducing us to two more Warlords of the Sea!)

I'm excited for the next arc. This was a good bridge between longer arcs. I like Robin. I liked her as a villain, and I'm excited to see more of her as a part of the Straw Hats.

This volume finishes off a short but interesting arc. This is definitely propelling our characters into new and exciting directions. I continue to love Oda's worldbuilding and these characters are absolutely wonderful. I cannot wait to see where this story goes next.

It was so funny when the topic is about a lie, they all look at Ussop even though he wasn't involved like the descendant of Noland the liar😂

When the descendant of Noland mentioned to the straw hat crew whether to believe his story or not, Luffy yelled out that he believed him and it made me laugh because he didn't even tell the story yet.

Nami and Sanji hating insects were adorable, I don't like them either. On the other hand, Ussop liking them was cute✨

Luffy is loyal af and I'm living for it.❤️

Luffy beat up Bellamy who is a heavyweight freaked out everybody😂

Sanji wanted a wanted poster of himself, too🤪

Waaaah! The ship flew! I couldn't believe it😍

Another fun volume, Oda Sensei, thank you✨🔥

The plot feels a little too fast but that could just be because it's been awhile since I took a break from One Piece. Overall, really enjoyed this, especially how
Luffy one shots Bellamy.
