Yuck. Way too much intense graphic teen sex for me. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. Plus does a whiny teenager so we are supposed to believe will save the world. Ugh. I’m a grown married adult woman who generally can enjoy a YA series but no thank you.

Um just wow. Jennifer has done it again. Love, love this book. Maybe because Zayne has been my book boyfriend since White Hot Kiss. But still. Seeing him in another light and be a protector and such is very nice. Not to mention having Roth and Cayman and Layla in this a ton is nice. I like when Jennifer adds these past characters in her books.
Now learning so much about the true born and not anything if that makes sense is definitely different.
Trinity goes through so much and her character development is spot on as she struggles with what she has done and learned about herself and those around her.
Everything comes to realization that it can't just be black and white. A lot of gray areas. And with her feelings for Zayne pushing to the first on her mind is what I think helps her.
And learning to accept help is also another great thing.
But what they all learn in the end and that ending is just omg worthy.
I need the next book now, not later.

That cliffhanger ending just shook me worse than the ending of Iron Flame and Libby needs to hurry up and send me the third book NOW.

So, first and foremost, I need to know if this series is YA.
Because the characters are young (19-23), but there is definitely some tame spice. If so, I'm not sure how I feel about it not being closed door? I think the sex is handled well in that the characters aren't reckless, practice safe sex, and have very clear consent. I think that's all great for teenagers to have examples of. Just weird to me that it's like explicit.
Anyway. I love the disability rep. I love the discussions of needing to feel independent. I love the fierceness of the MC.
This book was giving SPN in the way that we have angels and demons and humans and very specific angels of Christian lore.
And just like how I felt toward the end of supernatural, once a character dies, we should commit to the bit. I'm very over the bring them back from the dead thing.
Still, excited to read the third one and round out this trilogy.
