Yeah this one hurt me a little bit too but only a little bit. I was actually a big fan of the plot and the story. I’m afraid I will only be reading dramione fan fic from now on 😅

I quite enjoyed this one! It was a little long, but it had a very dark and protective Draco, which is my favorite! The crew is back at Hogwarts for higher education. Hermione can’t move on from the war and has nightmares and pain from her Mudblood scar. She’s trying to create a potion to remove it. Snape lets her work on it in secret if she will help Draco figure out what the ministry is up to and why so many death eaters are ending up dead.

They of course fall in love. She discovers he’s dying, and he obliviates her and disappears. She of course, saves him in the nick of time. I was slightly annoyed super genius Hermione never considered her potion could also remove the dark mark.

But overall, I really liked this book.

I LOVED this Draco and Hermione... And man I was about to lose it at about 80-85% in.. The author wrote a beautiful story and I ate it up
