I don’t know what I hate more, the fact that important character background info is dumped into 110 pages of a comic with barley any text in it, and published 1 year AFTER the last movie
Or the fact that I still don’t know who the fckg knights are!

This is an illustrated Wookipeadia summary, nothing more.

I won’t continue reading anymore SW comics by Disney/Marvel, the art is always sloppy and rushed (there is also a whole scandal about stolen fanart…), the story is very superficial.
In disbelieve I went to my Star Wars shelf and picked the one SW Omnibus from Darkhorse I own and opened it on a random page. There was more text on one page that on 4-5 pages of this…

Honestly, if you’re into it, read fanfictions. I read better fleshed out, researched stories and characters than in any official comic so far.

Well this made me have empathy for Kylo Ren, and now I don't know how to feel. 🫠

Also this is a great read if you also like the theory that the Stranger from The Acolyte might be part of the Knights of Ren.

Nope, I cannot be objective with my baby
He deserved SO. MUCH. MORE. and I loved to see more of his past and how he was, I wish I could have been there to hug him because he really deserved it

Read as single issues.

This was a great Star Wars story. I would add this to the list of new Star Wars soft canon that you should pick up. We follow young Ben Solo as he falls to the Dark Side, and sets up his character arc in The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi quite nicely. In my opinion it is better told here than his further story was told in The Rise of Skywalker (he had some GREAT character moments, but the film skipped a few beats. This doesn't.)

Not sure this actually explains anything about Kylo Ren, other than they tried to make him Anakin 2.0. It doesn’t give any depth to his character (in fact it makes him look even more pitiful) and it introduces characters that have zero impact in the story, because they’re gone by the end of the comics.

The only good thing about this is that we got to know how deeply rooted Snoke already was by the time Ben turned.

And was that the Drengir station Snoke was on? WTF?! Yet more threads left hanging…
