Domina had the potential to be a truly thrilling, exciting book, but somehow it very quickly became dull and predictable.
I thought the characters and the settings were a mess, too complicated to follow, and the overall storyline was not the exciting chase I had expected. Sure enough there were moments of suspense where I could not wait to turn the page, but this feeling quickly faded.
I think this one is for a very select few who have enjoyed Hilton's books in the past.

I really missed the spice that was present in the first book. Apart from this, the book is excellent. Clever and twisty. Loved the knowledge given about art.

The sequel to Maestra follows the story of Judith as she continues to run from the law and others who may be after her. This book follows Judith through Europe again. This time running into some wealthy Russians. Does Judith have a picture they're looking for? Can Judith find it to get them off her back?
I enjoyed this book more than the first one. Judith is a love/hate character, but she is definitely fascinating. I can't wait to see how this trilogy wraps up. I enjoy traipsing through Europe with her and also getting an Art History lesson along the way!

Took me a while to get into the book but after the first 3rd found it fast-paced and a eccentric game of cat and mouse.

Na šioji dalis patiko žymiai labiau, nei pirmoji, net sukirbėjo mintis, gal reiktų perskaityti ir trečią dalį
