This was a rough read. The heavy homophobia and other bigotry certainly does not make this an easy read. The characters were lovely and I kept wishing them all the best, so I kept pushing through so I could get to their happy ending. And I’ll always be a sucker for the lesbian’s himbo best friend <3

what a beautiful story even if I did sob most of the time. This books made me sad, angry, hopeful, happy, proud. Stevie and Nora have my entire heart.

I did not expect to love this book but I did! I am guilty of judging a book by its cover and by the cover I thought it was going to be another cheesy, poorly written romance. It most definitely was not. I fell so in love with these characters and what they were going through. They are so relatable and there is so much to unpack in this story.
