I dropped this book but I may pick it back up if the need to read the rest of the series arises. I enjoy book one and the world it created, but this one just bored me to tears… Literally I’ve fallen asleep reading it like 3 times now. Usually a book will keep me up because I want to read it so bad, but this one just doesn’t hold my attention at all.

I’m thinking about finding a synopsis online so that maybe I can read the other books in the series, I’m really curious about how Emma and Amy connect with their dragons.

If anyone wants to fill me in on how this book goes from chapter 22 onwards, feel free!

So that is what happened to Sasha!
This is book two in the “Fireblood Dragon” series. In this book we get to find out what happens after Dakh grabs Sasha out of the air saving her from falling to her death. Now this book is funny because Sasha has no idea what being a dragon mate means.
the reason that is funny? Dakh doesn’t really understand humans. But each person tries their best to understand each other and give what the other needs.
There is one part in here which every person who is a bookworm will love. This thing brings both characters together and creates a warm and loving moment between the two.
There is also a side character which pushes the story along and helps the characters come together a little.
I felt this book helped put more of the plot together. Adding a villain that we didn’t know we had. Though I personally can not wait to see how they affect the rest of the story.
As much as I enjoyed this book I did give it a 6/10 rating. I didn’t feel anything was wrong or that it wasn’t a good book. But it did feel like that rating to me. So take this as a “Dragon’s Challenge”. And go read “Fire In His Kiss” and tell us what rating you gave the story.

This was an enjoyable story that would have been five stars if it didn't lag in the middle. The middle became monotonous, with not much of anything interesting happening, but the characters were likable and I enjoyed the progression of the main relationship and learning more about the dragons.

3.5 stars!
I really enjoyed this one, it just moved a little slow for me at times. We do learn a lot more about the drakoni's past, which I am totally here for. I'm excited to read Emma's story in book 3; she was probably one of my favorite side characters in this series so far. She has so much grit and determination!

This was a bit less enjoyable of a romance than the first book, but the world building and mystery at the end was a nice touch.

These books are enjoyable and I really liked the expansion on the drakoni lore, but you really have to suspend your moral compass when it comes to relationships and consent for this one. There’s some super problematic tropes in this, so if you’re someone who’s sensitive to descriptions of barely consensual sex probably skip this one.

I didn’t think I could get into a post apocalyptic depressing dragon-scape, but alas Ruby Dixon found a way!
