Garret is a very quiet and reserved guy who keeps his personal life extremely quiet and everyone at arm's length. Lexie and has been crushing on Garret since she met him. Unfortunately, he has kept her in the friend-zone since they met a freshman year. She is determined to find out what his secrets are and what his reason is for not moving out of the friend zone. Garret tries to resist Lexie's advances but when his feelings become too much to resist, can he move on from his past or will his secrets be too much for everyone to handle?

Full Count is a best friends to lovers story in the Cessna U Wildcats world. The Cessna U Wildcats series is a home run and keeps getting better by the book. Full Count gives you all the feels and it is great to finally get to see into the mysterious Garret who has always been hiding in the background that you just want to find out about. Garret and Lexie are great friends and their banter is that of real best friends. This story has angst, feels and laughs which keeps you captivated in the story. After three books now I would highly recommend that you read this series in order so that you can follow the progression and growth of the characters. I can not wait for the next installment of the Cessna U Wildcats with Dalton's story.

This was a solid summer read, with good writing and characters. Unfortunately, I felt that the spark from the first book was missing in this one. Furthermore, I found the characters kind of lacking, but I did enjoy their banter.
Spoiler However, little Olivia did steal the show in all of her scenes. I did enjoy reading about Garret's secret, and I felt that his emotional struggles were realistic
.

I was looking forward to more of the friendship and family in the team that was in the previous books, but I understand why the dynamic was presented differently. Overall, this is still a solid read and I will read the next one to see where the characters end up, and more from the author, it just wasn't my favourite of the series.

Heartbreakingly beautiful!

This book was so much more than I could ever hope for. I have been dying for Garrett’s story and I was not disappointed. He is my heartbroken hero and I loved everything about this story.

Garret starts college down by 3, bases load, and a full count. The complicated story of how he ended up there is shared via flashbacks throughout the book. Those vignettes reveal all of the guilt and pain that he has endured over the past four years. His story will break your heart, but you will admire his resolve to do what is right for his family. However, it is this same desire to do the right thing that handcuffs him.

We witness his struggle to carry out his self-imposed sentence as he battles his feelings for Lexi. That man has the restraint of a priest! While he will frustrate you, his relentless determination and loyalty warm your heart and make him so special. Garret is a great guy, and you can see why Lexi has waited so patiently for him. But, how long will she endure this push and pull with Garret?

Before it is too late, can a troubled Garret hit a grand slam by figuring out that his past mistakes aren’t permanently etched on his soul?

I highly recommend this sweet, all the feels romance. Grab a tissue for this moving story of love, loss, guilt, and redemption!

Thank you to the author for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
