This is a beautiful collection of short stories. I want more from each of them, but none feels incomplete.

I'm generally not fond of the short story genre, because once I get introduced to the plot and characters, I want to hear more. But the stories were good, despite their length.

Crying. Stories with small, unspoken devastations. Lives and worlds split open, or slowly and quietly pulled apart. Beauty and love and life and joy. I’m grateful for these worlds Lahiri created.
