This book is so hard to review because it is very well written with intense character development and from a very original angle, but it is also incredibly difficult to read with so many trigger warnings I don’t know where to begin. If I had known what it was about or how it would make me feel, I would not have read it and for that same reason, I cannot recommend it either.

This is one of those books that I'm happy I read but, was extremely difficult. Please check triggers before diving into this one (which is always the case for a Lucinda book TBH).  I would love for the characters to have been fleshed out more. The information we found out about the dad felt very rushed to me

Very sad. Very intense. It’s not a bad book. I just wouldn’t recommend this to many people as it deals with sexual abuse. I felt a lot of feelings at the end. But this was mostly a sad book.
