This is one of those incredibly rare cases where the film is significantly better than the original book.

I mean, this is a fun book to a point, but I think the movie actually gave the characters more heart and made Andi more human.

The movie is a thousand, million times better, and I applaud the makers for taking something wholly mediocre with an unsympathetic character and making it into a really enjoyable film.

It’s fine? Andy is so unlikeable and hard to root for. She continuously sees herself above everyone else in the book and is never able to put anyone else’s problems ahead of her own.

this is another book i didn't finish...i just didn't like the author. I didn't like her writing style and I didn't like how she weaved her story. I just felt like I was listening to a whiny little brat and eventually I couldn't take it. It's one of the few times in my life you will hear me say (or in this case read the words that I've typed) that the movie was better than the book.

Not really my cup of tea but it held my interest to see it though to the end.
