Joe Dumpty (think Joe Friday) investigates his brothers suspicious fall from the wall. Loaded with silly wordplay and cameos from other nursery rhymes.

Joe Dumpty, Humpty's little brother, needs to find out what really happened to him. Did someone push him, was it an accident? Joe goes around Mother Gooseland to ask questions. Lots of egg puns and the usual suspects. Kids will love this cute, action packed book.

Cute story. Have to read it in a "detective" voice! Good fractured fairy tales story.

This book cracks me up every time I read it (I love all the word play) and it works perfectly as an introduction to the mystery genre for my fourth graders. This goes into my picture-books-with-a-little-more-intricateness/intricativity (how's that for taking a little touch of freedom with words? Try saying intricativity three times fast!)

Funny, funny, funny. Ransom did an awesome job of pulling many differnt mother goose characters into this "mystery" story. Kids will love it!
